Krista Tippett Conversation with Rick Rubin
Krista Tippett took a hiatus from her amazing interview show On Being for a while and I never quite found her again once she resumed. Until now, when she sent out a recent email reminding us she was there. Here is the link to some of her conversations that took place after her break.
I came across this gem that I would highly recommend featuring Rick Rubin, this rock star music producer who has a lot of wisdom to share with us in this interview about creativity and in his recent book The Creative Act: A Way of Being.
Combat Paper Project
I recently heard about The Combat Paper Project, a collaboration of artists, war veterans and activists initiated by Drew Matott and Drew Cameron, based in Burlington, Vermont. It was formed to help veterans cope with their war experiences and consists of making paper out of cutting up and processing their old uniforms into paper and then subsequently creating art on the paper they create. A big part of the project is facilitating the connection between veterans through workshops and exhibitions.
